We will be learning about the relationship between multiplication and division. In this unit, using a variety of strategies we will be learning to multiply to 9 x 9 and divide to 81 ÷ 9. We will be solving problems involving the multiplication of one-digit whole numbers and two-digit whole numbers by one-digit whole numbers. We will also divide two-digit whole numbers by one-digit whole numbers. Finally, we will learn to multiply whole numbers by 10, 100, and 1000, and divide whole numbers by 10 and 100, using mental strategies.
